Parkwood is the #3 from the SCC. Marvin Ridge defeated Weddington today 4-2, so MR is the #1 and Weddington is the #2 from the SCC.

IMO, MP/Carson and WIredell/JMR are best 2 matchups.

I wish all the locals the very best, but this year Im not sure I saw a team capable of going the distance (that is if your talking all the way to the state finals). Of course its a new season, and there are several of these teams very capable of getting hot and putting a streak together. I agree that MP is playing good ball right now.

Anyone know where the ballfield at Weddington High School is? With my highly tuned directional navigation skills I think I can find the school but sometimes the field may be located elsewhere. Thanks.

Yes follow DL's directions, take a left at middle school sign and bypass all right turns until you get to Deal RD then take a right and the middle school is directly beside field.

Thanks for the info. Just remembered having never been to East Rowan last year and finding out when I got there the field was not at the school. Tough draw for Hickory Ridge. Hopefully they will step their game up and play some good ball.
