    Weddington 8 Hickory Ridge 4

    Schellhorn ignites a Warrior 5 run 6th inning with a shot to left scoring the tying and go ahead runs, other hitter were Honeycutt w/2 hits, Langevin w/2 hits, Prillaman and Calabretta w/1 hit each. In the top of the 7th. Hickory Ridge started to battle back, play's like Morales's diving catch in center help put a stop to their efforts. It was a hard fought game all the way to the last out with Hickory Ridge having bases loaded.

    So glad to see that Shellhorn is back on the field. Weddington's offense just got some production back at a great time.........

    Cuthbertson over N Lincoln 11 - 1

    It was a good defensive game until the fourth when Cuthbertson opened it up with 7 runs due to some good hitting and a number of booted balls by the defense. Peter Hendel (UNC) went 4 - 4 with by going the CYCLE and Brian Donovan got the win throwing a complete game with 7 K's and 2 BB's. It's definitely nice to get Donovan back at such a crucial time in the season.
    Cuthbertson plays E Davidson on Tuesday and it should be at Cuthbertson.
