    Whats the word on this matchup from the teams that may have played both or knows anything about Porter Ridge.

    Rematch of last years 4th round game

    PR is a better team than last year and plays in a tougher conference. Should be a good game!!!

    Just from what I have heard and seen by conference standings and such... If Porter Ridge does not throw the Ace from Friday night....TC wins.

    TC wins either way I think but if PR ace is on bump then it is a close game.

    Had a great view behind the dish...Roberson is pretty tough....Josh wasn't his usual self for Porter Ridge out there tonight but he was working hard. Congrats to both teams for making this far. Roberson is going to be tough in the next round...saw a lot of good pitching from them tonight.

    PR vs TC

    Congrats to TC very good hitting team. Roeder did not have his best stuff but battled all night.Kudos to Cappello,Kwasnik,Flores and Roeder on a great 4year run. Greensboro College (Cappello and Roeder) and UNCP(Kwasnik) are getting some great ballplayers to continue there careers.We will be PIRATES FOREVER!!!

    Alex Ledford & Carson Bryant

    Alex Ledford continued his hot pace on the season w/ a 2-run homer (his 15th) in the 1st inning. The UNC-Greensboro recruit added 3 RBI's in the game to bring that record total to 56 on the year. Fellow UNC-Greensboro recruit Carson Bryant also had a 2-run homer in the 2nd inning. Ledford & Bryant also logged 5 innings of mound duty between them in the game. Not sure who got the W.
