    The walk-off homer was by Junior Jaylin Davis. Davis pitches, & plays several other positions as well. He just recently verbally committed to Appalachian State.

    Luis Paula came in & finished the resumed game Wednesday night & got the W!

    NE Guilford (27-1) now hosts game 1 of the 3A Eastern Finals tonight vs. Eastern Wayne (20-7)

    Haven't seen a boxscore on this game, so I really don't know who pitched for EW except Nolan James. Obviously, Eastern Wayne needs Zach Mozingo on the mound for one of these games to have a chance. Question is whether Fulghum will bring him back tonight (Mozingo pitched Tuesday night) or save him for a possible game 3. I'm guessing we'll see him tonight.

    Jacob McCann hit a two out, based loaded single in top 7 off Mozingo to put the Rams from NEG up for good.

    Marvin Ridge or South Point will be next for Rams.

    They are gonna be well rested and tough to beat but they will have to play their best ball of the year to win it.
