    Congratulatons Carolina Gators for making it to the championship. Playing six games in a row makes it tough, especially in 95 degree weather. The Gators hit a lot of long ball this weekend, glad to see the big bats come around. Great job by our pitching crew, Carley Tysinger carried most of the pitching duties for the tournament. Kori Ballard and Kayla Wright threw well also. We played well in the championship but ran out of gas in the end. Congrats to the Curve, they have a great team. On to the State Games and then Florida this weekend.

    WILDCATS FINISHED UP 7-1.....WE HAD A GREAT TURN OUT ON COLLEGE COACHES AT OUR GAMES. THE MOST IN A COUPLE OF YEARS. OUR KIDS PLAYED GREAT!!

    Well, we did lose our 1st pool game Thursday to the Tenn White Lightning. It was a Great weekend of ball. Want to thank Carson and Macy for helping us out while we were missing players on Thursday. We are very proud of ALL of you. Next up the ASA States.. Keep hitting the cover off the ball girls!!

    Way to go, Curve!!!

    Sorry we missed this tournament! Even with DD not playing I would have loved to have been there. Congrats to Curve coaches, players and parents on this awesome win!!

    Hats off....

    to Coach Fain and the Carolina Curve. They played as well as a team can pretty much perform this past weekend. Our Lady Blues team was having a nice run in the tournament, beating 3 teams in a row by a combined score of 34 - 3, and then WHAM! Curve just jumped on our backs. It was a great display of shutdown pitching, as well as explosive bats. Was very impressed, and I've seen a ton of 18U teams for the last 5 years play not only locally but on a National level as well. Don't want to jinx it for anyone, but I would be extremely surprised if the Curve (or Cardinals as well), don't make a deep, deep run at this years Natioinals in Moline. Should represent NC very well!

    With regard to college coaches, I thought the turn out was very good. Better than last year for sure. Someone mentioned that there weren't any ACC/SEC schools represented, but I personally talked to both NC State as well as South Carolina assistants that were in attendance. Overall we were very pleased regarding the exposure that our young ladies received.

    shouldnt you all be giving a lot of thanks to coach pack for adding 4 or 5 studs to your roster?

    I am sorry one correction on the scores, we did lose our first pool play game by the score of 5-0.

    studs are good!

    It's always nice to have "studs" in the lineup wherever they come from.

    Props to #12 on the Gators Gold team....This young lady can hit the ball.
