“The FINAL Roster’s are in and I have a question”

The heck with all you whinny mortals. What I want to know is who is this super boy who has teams and their fans across the world shaking at the mere thought of him changing life as we know it with one swing of his mighty bat.

 

I seen him once I did, right at dusk and he had a swing has fast as a broke loose clothesline during Hugo. Big has a bus, answers to the name of WonderBoy. Killed his first bear when he was only 3.

 

Its not about a "superboy." Its about playing by the rules. Some people think rules are made to be broken or that rules dont apply to them. My understanding is that Post 66 has been dealing with an individual for years who does not think that rules apply to him.

Alright so , there have been a little over 1600 hits to this post since it was posted last Sunday. All but one poster is in agreement that this is wrong. Let me tell you what else is wrong…. I heard this was put into a formal written complaint several days ago and has yet to be answered. Again I say it’s not rocket science. Here is what I think should be the next step since no one feels it’s important to give a timely response.
1. I think after reviewing the standing this morning that the two teams at the bottom should join in on this formal written protest since they have the most to lose here (the chance to go to the playoffs).
2. Then if that doesn’t work I believe every AD and Coach in the division should follow suite since you will be playing them in the playoffs if they bump whoever is at the bottom.
3. It should also go to every coach/AD and commissioner in the state who is certainly aware of this and chooses to look the other way.
4. Then if that doesn’t work I believe all of you out there in this board rocks land have phone numbers, email addresses, parents, and yes even congressmen (this is a congressionaly chartered organization) These situations can no longer be pushed under the rug. The good ole boy mentality has to be eliminated out of American Legion Baseball before it is destroyed.
Those of you, who think this may be extreme, remember we have dealt with these similar issues for years. As another poster put it… “It’s time for a little change”.

 

DANG; this threads had more than 800 Legion baseball visitors since yesterday. Way better than the paper. Forgive me but...Hey Folks this Friday Night Mooresville Post 66 Moors travel to the Friendly confines of Newman Park to take on Rowan Legion. Game time 7:00. Come on out and get behind the BIG GUYS.

Wait a minute, buddy. Cheerwine is not an officially sanctioned beverage of North Carolina American Legion Baseball. Do I need to start another thread about this or can we handle it right here?

 

Technically speaking, since it's a Friday night game at Rowan I should have probably said 'I'll be drinking OUT of a Cheerwine cup'.

The problem is in two places, first Lexington NC a man who will not make a deceison on what right because of friend ship with a certain family and a man in Hickory who makes up his own mind regardless of what the rule book says

 

Exactely why the masses can not stand around anymore when there is a problem with American Legion Baseball and depend on the process to be ethical, or timely. It's time to take all of the written appeals that have been ignored (or at the very least the powers at be refuse to respond in writting) out from under the rock they seem to hide them under and and spread it as far and wide as possible. Sooner or later the people in charge of this program have two choices. Go down with the ship or go away!!!
