Still has close ties to Tyson. I hear more scoop on them than our own team LOL. I thought it was a little crazy for them to jump up. That teams core starters are 2012. I have seen all the 11's they show on the roster. You never know what players they pulled from the other Angels teams to play however. Their 16U team was very good in CO too. I agree there probably aren't any 2011 eligible for 16U or shouldn't be.

    ??

2012 are 16U players. Guess the way that sounded to you as I was cutting your team down when it was basically saying the Angels were pretty darn good and young. Marty Tysons daughter is a 2012 so it would make sense to me that the core group of these kids be her age. Those 11's will be gone and this team won't drop off. Ya'll had a good run out in CO so it wouldn't matter if they were all 14U if they were in the bracket they were pretty good. Kim Howard's team is more than 50% 2012. 8 2011's. Sorry it sounded like I was getting on your team. Wouldn't have mentioned anything if I hadn't seen them play and knew the quality of team they had. If it makes it any better the Batbuster team that beat us were younger than us too. No shame in that.

    No worry

I's all good. My feathers get ruffled a little too easily these days.
The kid going to AZ that played 2nd most of the time is a '12 and one of the best I'ver ever seen (and I have a very good one myself).
The kid's playing SS, I was told, were '11's going to Washington and UCLA. The '12 pitcher to Nebraska, a '12 OF going to CAL (I don't think we ever got her out)
Tyson's daughter played very little against us either time.
The kid that caught is an '11 going to AZ St.
They are one of the best teams I have ever played and they got beat right after us by the CA Lady Magic. They were good too.
I was very suprised to see that the Beverly Bandits won it all. We played them at PGF last year 2-1.

Agreed, a solid organization but still was surprising to see them run the table against a strong field. Congrats on your week

Sorry I turned this into a Angels thread. Every one of their kids are committed big. I was also surprised the Bandits won it. I thought Team North Florida had things going their way. Back on the subject of your team I am always happy to see southern teams doing well. Its hard getting respect in NC/SC.

Fantastic job Rick and the girls! Wow, 24 kids, that is amazing! I think N.C. is probably in the top 5 or 6 states in the country now?
