    Hi Toms Post 87 7
    Concord Post 51 2

game called with High Point coming to bat in the bottom of the seventh. Lightning at first then the bottom fell out. Hi Toms players had fun sliding around on the tarp after - my 10 year old included. He ended up in the dugout looking for shelter during the deluge.

Concord started out with two runs in the first but High Point came right back with three runs in the first and never looked back. Mike Whited started with a solo shot to center, then after a Desean Anderson single, Chris Ferrante blasted a two run shot of his own.

Ferrante was two for two. HR, DB and 3 RBIs. Andrew Madden was 1-3 with a bases clearing double.

Sean Geoghan was sharp on the mound getting the win for High Point. Was good to see Anderson out there. 1-1, walk and HBP, scored three runs and threw out a runner at home on a bullet from center.

Might be the only game I see this year so I'm glad it was a win.

been too busy working. My daughter worked for the Hi Toms last year so I saw more legion games. She talked me into going tonight. Only game I've been to this year. Not counting Colt ball and little league games for my kids.

Was good to be out there again. If High Point can make a run in the playoffs I may make a couple games.
