    Carolina Crush of the Upstate won the 16u side going 9-0 in the Tournament. They beat the NC Diamond Thunder in the championship game.

    2) NC Dominators
    3) Cardinals Chandler - Blue Ridge Bombers

    Carolina Crush coaches

    Carolina Crush of Upstate 16U and 18u are coached by Vicky Corn and Tammy Pace. Both definitely know their game, and are great with the girls. They are not only great travel ball/showcase coaches, but they both coach JL Mann high school (Greenville, SC). JL Mann has won the 4A SC State Championship 3 years in a row!

    Vicky and Tammy are moms of 2 outstanding softball players as well. Mckenzie Corn is a rising sophomore at Winthrop, and Hannah Pace is a rising sophomore at Furman University.

    Congrats to the Crush for winning the 16U Division at the East Coast Fireworks!

    I can agree with pertty much everything else you said. However, JL Mann won the AAA SC State Championship 2 years in a row (placing #2 the year before). Then they moved up to AAAA and won their first AAAA State Championship.

    Sorry about that. Did not know that they were 4A for the first time this year. Anyway you slice it, JL Mann has won three consecutive SC State Championships, no matter what division. Bottom line is, they have a very nice program there.

    Well, moving up from AAA to AAAA and promptly winning another state championship is a very impressive feat. I was not demeaning their accomplishments in any way, just setting the record straight.

    The question is how successful they are going to be now that Ms. Jury has moved down I-85 to Tuscaloosa, AL. Ms. Hawkins has done well this year during her opportunities, but has some pretty dang big shoes to fill.
