Champions Cup - Irvine Ca.

The Carolina Gators are 2-0. They defeated the NJ Inferno 6-3 and the NorCal Assault 7-3. Carley Tysinger had 9 k's in the first game and Dallas Heaton had 6 k's and is 4 for 6 with 2 doubles.

Sorry for the late update. They went 3-4-1, played some very good teams. They could have done better but had a couple games where the bats did not show up, plus had to pick up a couple players before they left. You can look at the scores on the Champion Cup website. Lots of D1 college coaches out there. California teams not that impressive. Did not see any dominating pitchers. It was a great experience, will try to go Colorado next year.

If you cant get into the Slugger tournament you are probably wasting your time in CO. The Fireworks is ok. Sparkler you do only if you are looking for CO vacation. Slugger Independence is awesome. Be careful on spending money on the rest.

Looking at the scores, there were 3 combined games that 23 runs were given up by your team & 0 scored. There must of been some good pitching there

 

Pitching was not the issue. Guess you had to be there to know the whole story. Been around this game long enough to know what dominating pitching is. Carley Tysinger threw as well as any pitcher out there. Why am I responding to this, I don't need to defend this team or anything I've said. Moving on - going to play in the Triple Crown Nationals next week at Myrtle Beach.

Yes, we had three games that we didn't score. So what, who cares. Only one team beat us bad (12 to 0) we didn't hit, gave up 6 runs in the first two inning. it happens, the other two was 6 to 0 and 4 to 0, there it is (happy) it happens when a good team don't hit and a good team hits. I'm hearing all about gave up 23 runs score none, HOW about the ones we WON, you can look up the scores @ championscup.org . We went out their with 8 Gator members,pick up two. Which they did a good job for us, it's still not the same without yours. Did we face good talent Yes ,were they as good as us NO, bottom line didn't HIT.

We did have a couple say good things about our girls and Thank You, isn't that's what it's all about anyway? The ones that want to talk about the loses it's okay to. I'm not worry I tell my grls all the time,How good they are.

When you don't hit the ball and you make errors you lose that's it.

If we hit the ball like we did at the Dynamite Classic (18 Total Homeruns, 12 0n Sunday) We would have won all of our games. We wouldn't ran out of gas like we did at the classic because the games wasn't back to back and so on.

I'm happy the way we played we were 3-4-1 and did that with not hitting as a team and made errors. I will say this, each team we faced but one,knew the Gators are a very good team from NC.

 

The two sentences that got you in trouble were California teams not that impressive. Did not see any dominating pitchers. Your bats didn't show up for three games and usually good pitching is the reason the bats don't show up. Just give credit where credit is due and this conversation doesn't happen.
