Queen City Spirit 12U Try-outs!

The Queen City Spirit Organization is growing! Soon we will field three 14U and one 12U team. Our first two seasons have been a tremendous success having been very competitive in Top Gun and NSA “A” and “AA” bracket play. The 2010-2011 12U team has 10 top 3 finishes in 11 tournaments and qualified for the “A” 10 of 11 times. Our players exemplify positive attitudes, teamwork and sportsmanship. Our coaching emphasizes consistent reinforcement of fundamental skills resulting in continuous improvement. Our players are committed to practicing hard, playing at the highest level and having fun in the process.

Our 12U team of 2000 birthdays is looking to fill several key positions including pitchers, catchers, infielders, and speedy outfielders. We are especially looking for some big bats! We will also consider ‘99 birthdays.

We will be having try-outs for our 12U team on July 26th and 28th at Bradford Park field 3 in Huntersville. Registration will begin at 6:00. Please contact us in advance so that we can learn more about your athlete and have her complete a player profile. Tournament level experience is a plus. You can expect complete confidentiality but if you prefer a private try-out before the 26th please let us know.

Nc Strike Force 16u

We currently have the opportunity to add a couple players to our 2011 roster. The NC Strike Force 16u Showcase team currently has 9 dedicated ball players and we are looking to round-out our roster at 11 players. Our team plays a disciplined brand of defense where communication is paramount and an aggressive brand of offense that requires a good bat and exceptional speed and decision making. Our coaches are very knowledgeable, passionate, and committed. We strive to teach the game to our players in a manner that enables them to control their game and make their own decisions. The players we are looking for should be a standout at either Outfield, Middle Infield, and/or Third Base. We would also be interested in an exceptional pitcher who can play other position(s) as well. The players we add to our roster will get plenty of playing time. We do not believe in starters and bench players. Our players are versatile at multiple positions and share time to ensure everyone gets plenty of opportunity on the field. 99 Charlotte Blaze Red is looking for a catcher for the 2012 season. We are based out of South Charlotte. This team has been very successful in their first year of 12U and we look to great things for next year. The core of these girls have been together since they were 8 years old. Charlotte Magic 18u Showcase Tryouts

The Charlotte Magic will be holding tryouts July 30th from 10 - 2 at Northside Christian Academy. We are looking to replace our seniors heading off to college. CAROLINA CARDINALS TRYOUTS SCHEDULED

The Carolina Cardinals-Chandler 18U will have tryouts for all positions Saturday, July 30th, starting at 1 pm at West Stokes High School, 1400 Priddy Rd., King, NC 27021.
We will be seeking to add to our roster, top players who can compete on a national level.

The Carolina Cardinals is an organization of girls fastpitch softball teams ranging in ages from 8U to 18U. The organization was conceived and managed by ASA Hall of Honor Inductee, Ray Chandler from 1989 through 2010. Ray coached all age groups and in particular, the 16U team which has been in existence for over 20 years. During his tenure, he never strayed from the simple philosophy of hard work and dedication can make your dreams come true.

98 pitcher just moved to Charlotte from Michigan. Looking for 13u/14u tryout info. In Michigan we have a great forum which is www.michigan-fastpitch.com , so I was looking for one like that when I was told to visit this forum. So, my next question, is this the best forum to find out what's going on with softball in and around the Charlotte area ? One stop shopping if you will...lol Would also like to pick-up with 12u team(s) for any practice/play before tryouts begin. A way for both the teams and us to get a look at eachother prior to tryouts if nothing else.
