Kama Tucker new coach at Presbyterian

Hope your DD's teammates don't hope to get someone recruited at Presbyterian.....& yes Leslie Hensley is the real deal, she hit the only homerun i saw in 23U last weekend and pitched even better...and what a great "kid" (guess that's a relative term at 23U huh?)

 

Give her a chance

Guys and Gals, let's give Coach Tucker a chance, she did a nice job at Greensboro, was helping JMU continue to excel, and does a nice job recruiting. Do we always have to be negative? This board is so full of negative people, I do not make many post anymore as it just is not worth it.

 

Where are you getting your information?

No doubt Whitney Gelin has done a great job at GC, but she was never an all american at UNC. Yes, a great athlete. She also, never applied for PC job to even be in the running. She had her best year at GC with Kama Tucker's recruits,let's also remember that. They are both great coaches. Kama Tucker will have her challenges due to the past coach not taking his job as a role model seriously. She will clean it up,give her a couple years.

I thought this was an uncensored open board. I just gave an opinion, because I know her. Just because I'm not impressed with her doesn't mean I don't wish her well. I hope she has learned a lot. Good luck Kama!

 

Kama should do fine

but remember what we're talking about hear. PU has about 1,300 students and an athletic budget that is smaller than some DII schools. The same can be said for a some other Big South schools. Even in the conference there is a large resource gap with Radford and Liberty having budgets (and salaries) far higher than the other schools. This a very difficult job. Realistically, a .500 season is the probably the most to be hoped for given the resources available there.
