    Still going on. Cherryville up 5-1 over Wayne County in 6th inning...

    Cherryville wins which means BDR won the High School State Championship at East Rutherford in his son Drew's last high school game and the Legion State title in Drew's last legion game. Very cool

    Congrats to all the good folk over in CHURAVIL !!!

    I know old Sumo and Luigi are somewhere dancing in those Gaston County streets. Of course they wouldve prob done that, win or lose... :victoryg:

    Seriously guys, congrats big time, ole Bobby Dale is sure piling up a helluva record over there.

    Congratulations to the Post 100 team for a great run through the state tournament. The Cherryville team got some great pitching performances from there staff and was able to get enough timely hits to come out on top. Good luck in the regionals in Sumter!

    Congrats Cherryville!

    It will be great to see Carolina teams with great winning traditions down at Riley Ballpark in Sumter, SC at the Regionals. Nice job Post 100.

    Should be some great baseball and big crowds. Last time I saw Sumter hosting the regionals I watched Rowan represent NC really well. They starting out with a pitchers duel, a one hitter i think against Sumter. The Sumter survived for a few more games.

    Shelby's got the World Series the following week. So that's 2 nice tourney's back to back within my driving range. I'm hoping that Shelby will bring some of that delicious orangeaid and icecream down to Sumter.
