    Looking Back

looks like the topic has gotten off track......but some good names have been thrown out

Jonathan Capps (last years JV coach... college player... JV Team #1 in league last year.....but did have juniors playing JV)
Windal Robertson(most experienced coaching HS baseball, Old School, could probably handle the MP dynamics(ha ha) the best)
    Kevin Hill (On Deck co-founder)
Bo Robinson (All around stud:stirthepot::zaehne: Milb)
Jake Robbins (MP Alum former MLB Pitcher)
Trey Ramsey (MP Alum former College Catcher Head Varisty Coach Irredell County)
Raphael Mendez (varsity asst coach brought in at end of season last year Milb Hurricanes Coach)

Rumor is that Rick Lewis AD wants someone that is on staff at MP....so that throws out a few of these guys as they were drafted out of HS and did not go to college......should be interesting.......from what I have seen MP has alot of talent coming up.....i also heard they are moving their field in to 260' on the corners and 340' up the middle from the existing 340' corners and 402' middle so they can hit as many home runs as Providence!:drunk:

    MP

Why is Myers Park's field so much bigger than all the other high school fields in Charlotte? It would seem that really should bring the fences in to get on the same page as the rest of the fields in the county.
Especially Providence. It didn't seem to hurt Holberton going to UNC but maybe hurt Powell's numbers. If each had 15 dingers, maybe more scouts would have noticed and it skews their numbers for sure.
All the coaches listed seem like good candidates. There is talent all over the county and MP seems to be on par with the upper tier.

He sent out a very nice email to the MP Baseball community.....sited time away from family as his sole reason for resigning. The email did not provide details as to what his new job would be but did say that he had found one over the summer
