    Its off season time and I know keeping the American Legion section of the site going during winter and fall is tough. Can you name the home fields and managers of the American Legion teams you know? Honestly, this is for my benefit because I don't know any of the Area IV Eastern Division Managers or Area III teams east or the Area Commissioners.

    For instance -

    Caldwell County Post 29 is managed by Brandon Banks and they play at MS Deal Stadium in Granite Falls.

    Shelby Post 82 is managed by Mike Grayson and they play at Hoyt S. Keeter Stadium (Shelby High School) in Shelby.

    Cherryville Post 100 is managed by Bobby Reynolds and they play at Fraley Field (Cherryville High School) in Cherryville.

    Hickory Post 48 is managed by Fore Rembert and they play at Hinkel-Alley Field (Catawba Co Fairgrounds) in Newton.

    Taylorsville Post 170 is managed by Gary Hamby and they play at Alexander Central High School in Taylorsville.

    Now keep the chain a'movin.. :)

    The Queen City Mustangs are managed by Greg Clewis and play at Jack Sink Field (Myers Park High School) in Charlotte...no post affiliation.

    Got it... I know Roy Waters is the State Commissioner and Bill Murray is the Area IV Commish. Can someone tell me all the others?

    Union County Post 535 is managed by Alan Mitchell and assisted by Rocky Richar. Games are played at Wingate University.

    Kinston Post 43 is Coached by Head Coach, Ronnie Battle & Assistants, Tommy Dixon & Bert Potter. Games are played @ Kinston High School.

    Durham Post 7 - Riverside or the DAP
    Raleigh Post 1 - Still play at Optimist Park or have they moved?
    Cary - Unfortunately, who knows where they are on a year to year basis
    Wilmington Post 10 - Hoggard? Awesome legion setting on those summer beach nights.

    JM15, You left out Apex?

    Now why would you leave off a team from your list of which you are very familiar? Especially since half the guys on the team are from the high school you coached at this past Spring.

    Apex Post 124: Head Coach Tim Harrell Plays at Apex HS.
