    A feeling shared by most. There are some people that wished HS baseball was played in the fall. The weather is much better.

    It would be kinda cool if they had the first half the season in Aug-Sept-Oct....then 2nd half would be April-May and June for playoffs.

    I would definitely vote for a Fall/Spring season but then most of your showcase teams would be out of business - or limited to a summer season. Maybe then college coaches would do a little more recruiting at high school games like they used to.:suicide:

    Yeh, I like the thought of a split season. Don't know how the football teams would like it. Lots of schools have to share fields for practice and games.

    No Friday night baseball games. Actually they could play on Saturdays (would have better attendance), but AD's don't want to give up their family time. Of course it doesn't seem to be a problem for the private schools.

    Play football in the Spring, maybe avoid the heat related tragedies from August 2 a days....
