    I MECK's OUTFIELD

from low and slow and dirty Moe's list of I meck studs. If I am a DIV1 coach or pitcher I would love to have a outfield of Cam Underwood, Ryan Brennan, and Jamaal Harbison. These 3 young men are the real deal on and off the field. Look for great things for years to come from these gentleman. Harbison could perhaps pull off dual sports for the golden ones in Minn.

Add Jr. Jessie Sefert from Lake Norman HS 2b

Michael Hammond (soph) from Hough HS may well be on the varsity staff--earned the opportunity with very good jv season and summer/fall seasons--early season non-conference work ahead will give him and others on young Hough staff a chance to crack the varsity squad and maybe face I-Meck batters. Couple definite holes to fill already.

    North pitching

Pitching will be strong at North Lincoln with a 1,2,3 punch of Jake Cochran Christian Anderson and Justin Norton. This will make them strong if they are used right the next 2 years

    A TOUGHER ASSIGNMENT...... but fun!!!

Now that we have exhausted the opinions on the "top ten in a conference", take a stab at who are the top ten, regardless of conference, by area: Raleigh and east; and west of Raleigh::twocents::champagne::crybaby::LO1Love04HL::music-smiley-004::39::winkiss::FIMunching06::francais::santa3::idea3:

I will let you know who came the closest in getting their list correct.......:lijstje::lijstje::lijstje::lijstje::lijstje:

Just cause you made the team last year is no guarantee of making it this year. Hough pitching staff struggled last year and could really used some fresh faces.

Jake Cochrane is a senior so he we be there only this year. Who is Christian Anderson. If this is the same kid that has been there for the last several years I was told he was not even getting any playing time the past 2 years.

North will have several seniors in key positions and have a good allotment of pitching from there seniors and Justin Norton who is a junior.

Johnny Piedmont had Tommy John a couple of weeks ago. My guess is they'll be some pitching opportunities for some people to step up.

Keith Walsh (2012) is a LHP from Green Hope who could have a very big year in the Tri-9.

Very sorry to hear about Johnny. He is a class kid and has always carried himself well both on and off the field. My son has enjoyed playing with him in several events over the years and has always said he was one of the nicest kids he has been around, a great teammate. I'm sure things will work out for him as good things happen to good people. I hope NC State honors his committment as the injury couldn't have come at a more unfortunate time. Hang in there Johnny!
