Ellen Tillman commits to India River State College in Florida

    The CAROLINA GATORS family would like to congradulate ELLEN TILLMAN, 3rd baseman for the Carolina Gators 18 Gold Team, on her recent verbal committment to Indian River State College in Florida. Ellen will be signing this winter with a full schlorship. Great job Ellen. You have represented the gators well!!!! Ellen is a great athlete with dedicated parents (Glenn and Tina Tillman) that have been an asset to the Carolina Gators Team. Good luck Ellen and Family!!!!:shiny:

    Ellen it was a pleasure to share the field with you. You are an awesome player and even better person. High in character and high in the love for the game. Your parents have every right to be proud, as we are.

    Thanks, Coach Mike for all you have done for Ellen. It seems like just yesteday we came to the Gators, looking for a new team for Ellen to join after aging out of her 14U Team. The team has grown from a 16U team playing locally to a 16U/18U team to a 18U Gold Team that has had a great amount of success. You've had some good Coaches helping along the way also.(Jeff,Jamie,Greg,K.B's Dad,and Mark). Ellen remembers what each of them did for her over the years. Jamie i hope we can stay in touch, Ellen appreciated all you support and instuctions. Mike its is like we are part of the family.( Tina,Glenn and Ellen) We have always been welcomed by you and Beverly. Over the years i have always told you i wanted to watch the Gators from the other side of the fence. But would help out with the parents and finding places to eat and stay. You are starting a new Chapter with the Gators now, You have new Coaches.(Todd is really helping out now that the team is rebuilding). You have had alot of new players coming out to try out for the Gators in the last few weeks, so i know it will not take you long in building a new team that will enjoy as much success as it has in the past. Tina and I are looking forward to Ellens next level of play, We will miss all the girls and parents that have been and are still a part of the Gator Family. Thanks again Mike for the phone calls and emails to all the colleges and coaches. Candy i hope when i am not there next year you can find someone else to pick on and go to Chillis and Applebees with. Tina will miss talking to you and solving all the softball problems with you.(LOL) Ellen starts her condition training next week with Coach Jeff. Last but not least, Ellens has made many new friends while playing with the Gators,some have moved on to college and others have move on in other ways and some are still Gators. But she will always remember each one of you. Thank all of you who made this a great experience for her, she values your friendship on and off the field. See everyone in Myrtle Beach the 11th.
