Greater Charlotte Hot Stove Dinner Finalists

will be announced next week. I have to say, this may be the strongest batch of players in the five year history. Not to take anything away from past finalists, but I think the growth of the event has led to more nominations and more prestige for the awards.

The event is January 28th and tickets are on sale now. This event has sold out for 3 straight years with a crowd of over 600 last year. We move to Charlotte Catholic for this years event and we will have a very hard cap # to stick with on tickets we can sell.

My advice-- don't wait, once the finalists are announced, there will be a mad run on tickets.

Rolling out a new program format for 2012 which should deduct 90 minutes from the night and get folks out of there way earlier. I listen and learn every year, wait until you see this years event!

I am going to release the finalists on Wednesday in conjunction with my next newspaper printing.

We are pretty excited about the menu,, Hickory Tavern is going to cater it and they have out together a pretty solid meal. Anything you have at Hickory Tavern is good! We are doubling the serving lines also to speed up that process, should be able to get everyone through the lines in 20 minutes or so

too early to tell, but I feel safe in predicting we will go over 600 people again, I just have to figure out how many seats I can put at Charlotte Catholic

Which Wednesday? I would guess you have a big task on your hands planning the event. Anything some of us can help with?

 

That was nice of you to offer. It's trhe first time anyone has volunteered to help on TBR (although many probably do in private.) Good job, baseballady...I already love you on TBR!!!!
