Without starting an argument, who are the top pitchers in the state this year? We all know Chelsea (AC- Georgia) Carley Tysinger(Central Davidson-Catawba) North Davidson's duo Eliza Davis and Mckenzie Houser. Who are the new girls and less hyped?

I'll start with two. Jaime Hrobak (Polk County- Brevard) adn Mckenzie Winslow. McKenzie plays at Lake Norman and for the Cardinals. Very quality young pitcher.:coffee:

Watch this year for Taylor Carpenter at Mount Pleasant to come on. This kid has been hurt for two years and hopefully will be heathy this year. She will soon be making her announcement for college plans. Tall slim girl and if she can stay healthy should have a great year.

Simple solution to who is the best!!!

The unfortunate thing is that you will truly never know "who" is doing better - because not all of the NC teams utilize sites like maxpreps, or programs such as gamechanger. Have you ever noticed that the ones that don't utilize these programs, and/or sites are usually the ones that are infamous for "cookin" books.
If it is all out there, there is nothing to hide.
Then you will truly see who is doing better than the other - just saying.

Bottom line, it's all opinion; even with the stats, which are opinions many times.

Absolutely Phreak - and don't forget, lack of knowledge. I have seen many a stat keeper who will not credit the pitcher with a well-earned K on a dropped third strike.

Also, why anyone would consider MaxPreps or any other self-reporting service accurate is beyond me. For three seasons I compared books I kept for our team vs others within our conference, and the amount of stat inflating was mind boggling.
