******Carolina Edge Has Some Exciting News******

We are pleased and excited to announce that the Carolina Edge will be joining the Lady Lighting organization run by Coach John Corn in the spring of 2012. After 4 successful years of our team competing under the Edge name we will now be competing under one of the best know and respected organizations in the US. Under the guidance that the Lady Lighting organization can provide we feel this is the best fit for our players to gain the knowledge and tools needed to play at the College level. Not much has changed with the team we’ll just be playing under a different name and colors and we will continue to compete in the most competitive tournaments. Please visit us at the Lady Lighting website http://www.ladylightninggold.org for more information and news about our LLG Futures (Edge) team in the months to come. As always we are always looking for talented young ladies to take their game to the next level. For tryout info please contact Coach Wooten @ 336-469-3410 or at [email protected] We’re looking forward to an exciting 2012 season.

    congrats for a fact

Congrats Coach Wooten. It is obvious that there are always going to be haters in the house. We all know why that is. The Lady Lightning program is a great representative on a National level. Looking at the body of work that Coach Corn has going on I would have to say it would be hard to find another program that comes close to saying that it has placed as many players in quality D1 programs over the last several years. Your team will benefit from Local NC players such as Lexi Davis (Auburn Commit) Jesse Weber (Eastern Illinois Commit), Madison Arroyo (Miss State Commit), Sam Carpenter (East Tenn State Commit) Allison Geiner(UNCG Commit) and Lauren Batten (UNC Commit)
It is a shame that people can not be as evenly supportive.
Looks like this program is only getting stronger so I say Congrats to you, your families and your players. You will have the benefit of following in the footsteps on many strong players before you. Let the haters hate and only wish they could do the same.
And some people on this board should set an example as opposed to encouraging the hating that goes on. CHEEZE!!!!!!

Thanks Lovethegame52...we thought long and hard about making a move like this with our girls being so young....but with what Coach Corn and his LLG program has been doing for his young ladies and their commits is extremely impressive. It took me little time coaching with him and being around his players in his organization, with the discipline and desire his older girls have to know this is where I want my kids to be. I look forward to 2012 and many more with the LLG program with all my dedication and support.
