NPF announces Charlotte franchise for 2012

    CHARLOTTE, NC - January 24, 2012 - The National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) League announced today that a new professional women's fastpitch team, the Carolina Diamonds, has been franchised and will begin play in 2012. The team is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

    Yes, these teams do have tryouts. Probally about 2 weaks before the season starts. They will announce the try-out dates on each teams web site.
