Yeah I'll do my best. Working concessions and lunch crew and whatever else needs doing but I'll try to keep up with the games too.

Bunch of water got dumped on the field this afternoon. Luckily followed by some heavy wind to start drying it out. Might be a later start in the morning if the field needs a lot of work.

Cant wait to get back out and see some baseball,,,,,,, SPC sure gonna be interesting this year for sure. Coach Knight you had a great post, well thought out about all the teams. Real good talent on some teams, should be a lot of fun. As for predictions,,,,,,,, well its gonna come down to the same thing it always comes down to,,, who pitches the best, who hits it, and who makes the routine plays. Names dont win ballgames, the TEAM that executes the best usually wins. GOOD LUCK to everyone this year.

Btw NW won the hotdog challenge (for best dogs) again last year, so Im looking for some other school to step up this year. If you will look at it this way,,,,, NW has best dogs in SPC, and East Rowan clearly has the best dogs in the NPC,,,,, do you NOT see the connection? Good baseball and good hotdogs just go hand in hand. I didnt make that rule, its just the way it is. Look forward to seeing yall soon.

TJ I missed seeing you out there today. Kannapolis and Ragsdale looked like two evenly matched teams today. Back and forth all game. Ragsdale won it 9-8 (maybe 8-7) on a walk off steal of home by Joe Pantuso. Joe Pa played a good game - drove in the first run and scored the last.

The Wonders beat Forsyth Country Day I think 8-4 in their first game.

It sure was a beautiful day for baseball - if you're an eskimo. 40 degrees and 40 MPH sustained winds - that NEVER stopped blowing all day. But it's always good to have the K-Town crowd visit. Players, coaches and fans always first class.

    Good luck this season.
