Sean Collins comes back from the DL with 6 K's on 3 2/3 innings.

Weddington couldn't get the bats rolling tonight. Scoring 2 in the bottom of the 7th with 2 on, a short pop fly behind 3 ends the game.

I didn't think that anyone could beat Weddington in the SCC? I guess we know at least one team that can. I believe baseballx3 said it best by saying that's why you play the games. I know Weddington is EXTREMELY talented and very well coached but in this conference you can get beat by just about anyone if you don't bring your A game. I would go ahead and say that Weddington has to be one of the front runners for a state title in 3A and do you know what that means to everyone else in the conference......NOTHING! The other teams are going to show up everyday and lace em up no matter who they are playing. Good luck to you the rest of the year.
