NJCAA Region X Division II Standings

2 options...

1. you can either go by national stats....and cherry pick the leaders in Region X, (http://www.njcaa.org/sports_stats.c...nselect=555&report_id=3747&requesttimeout=500)

or

2. you can gather the team stats you want, and gather each team in Region X, and complile and sort them

either way....it's some work.

 

Catawba Valley v. Surry

Anyone have scores on the Catawba Valley v. Surry matchup?

Southeastern CC def. College of the Albemarle 5-4 in the first game and 13-3 in five innings in the second game. Southeastern has a 14 game winning streak. 14-5 in conference, 21-9 overall.

 

Surry....4-3 and 7-4

 

Surry takes series 2-1

Surry won the series today with a 9-5 win over the pitching and defense of CVCC. It was a great game on both sides with some really good defensive plays, including an over the fence grab to save a 3 run homer by CVCC's left fielder. I really enjoyed watching these two nationally ranked teams compete until the end of the game. That is when the CVCC coach showed his lack of sportsmanship by refusing to shake coach Lowe's hand.

 

Southeastern v. College of the Albemarle

SCC won game three 12-3 to get the sweep over COA.
SCC 15-5 conference

 

The coach from CVCC did shake Coach Lowes hand along w the rest of his coaching staff-Surry played well all weekend and deserved to win-good ballclub-congratulations to Coach Lowe and his staff

 

They are friends and have known each other a long time. Of course, he would have displayed sportsmanship. In fact, Coach Pait is one of the best and nicest baseball guys I have ever met.
