    Looking good....

I saw him pitch this past weekend at NCWC and he was the real deal. The Pittsburgh Pirates scout was there to see him pitch.

A huge congratulations goes out to Cuthbertson High School alum, Preston Morrison, for having earned his way into TCU's weekend pitching rotation!

This past Sunday, the Freshman gave up only two earned runs in his 8 2/3 innings as the winning pitcher; bringing him to a season record of 4-0. Those two earned runs are the only two he's yielded in his past 14 1/3 innings. Last week's performance earned him TCU's male "Player of the Week" award.

    Wingate/SAC Tournament

Wingate is one win away from the SAC championship game. Tonight, Olen Little improved to 4-0. He got the win 6-3 against Carson-Newman pitching 6.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits, walking 1 and striking out 8 (including the SAC player of the year). What a performance! We are so proud of him. Big game tomorrow against Tusculum.

    Don't wake him up!

My son had another good weekend series against Furman, especially in the double header on Saturday. In those two games he went 5/9. (2) singles, double, triple, grandslam, and the game winning walk off single in game one. His teammates were equally as impressive in the three game set; sweeping Furman 14-2, 6-5, and 14-0. Go App!

I understand baseball; how things can change at any given time and tomrrow might be a different story, but yesterday was fun!
