Could not agree more! I haven't met a real competitor yet that wants to come out of any ball game. The responsibility falls completely on the Coach and his staff.

For those that have been around a while and understand where I am coming from, we like to call that facility "Ed Bryant's Field of Dreams"!
Personally I will always call it that out of respect to Ed!

    Cuthbertson Vs North Stanly

Game called because of lightening and lack of lights. You gotta love Union County and providing no lights to new schools on the baseball fields.
Top of the 4th and Cuthbertson leading 1 - 0. Cameron Tekker was pitching for Cuthbertson. Kimrey was pitching for North Stanly. Pick this one up after Spring Break.
Cuthbertson travels down to Hartsville, SC for the Southeastern Baseball Classic. They'll be playing teams from PA., VA., and IL. Should be a lot of fun for the boys.

CBA - East Meck Spring Break Classic All Tournament Team

    All Tournament Team

    North Meck - Ryder Ryan
    Charlotte Catholic - Eddie Hull
    Butler - Dalton Eisenbath
    TC Roberson - James Nevant
    Independence - Nick Salisbury
    Hopewell - Wayne Shaffer
    Hough - Jared Sobo
    East Meck - Rashad Webster

    Tournament Most Outstanding Player

    Brandon Gragilla (Hough)

There are easily 8-10 other kids that had outstanding performances and they did not go unnoticed. Kids like Johnny Piedmonte who, if he didn't knock it out of the park, he was beating the centerfield wall to death. Matt Baltimore pitched a 1 hitter. Tristan Baker pitched his way out of one jam after another in his victory the second day. Ian Ashworth kept his composure against a hard hitting Hough team until his team could catch a momentum change and mount a late comeback.

That is what makes this tournament so special. The level of play against such strong competition is beyond impressive.

    I-meck standings

I suggest looking at two places:

    lnhsbaseball.com

The Wildcats have one of the best new websites promoting their team and players. They are doing a great job of keeping up with the I-Meck baseball standings. They are asking for feedback to improve the website.

    Also look at
