    Butler 7 Myers Park 5

Matt Baltimore gets his 3rd win of the season going 6 full at MP. Troy Neal went 4-5 at the plate and Dalton Eisenbath got his first save with a five pitch 7th inning. Baltimore was cruising 6-0 and had not allowed a hit until the 5th when ths scrappy Mustangs made the most of their hits scoring 3 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th. Butler added a run in the top of the 7th to go up 7-5. Eisenbath took a rocket off the bicep but made the play at first to record the second out. A groundout to second ended MP's comeback. Butler pounded out 12 hits with Moser, Gehringer and Whittingham having 2 hits. Gordon took the loss. Butler hosts Olympic tomorrow at 7pm.

    Providence Ban

    Providence 12 Rocky River 0

It seems like Danny has banned the Providence parents from TBR so I'll take care of providing their results today.

Providence is clearly the premier team in NC and does not benefit from participating in this format. They are singularly focused and keeping to themselves.

Like it or not, they're feeling the pressure. This is by far their best opportunity EVER to win Coach Hignight his first State Title. This is the best PHS team in more than a decade.

I understand the low key approach to stay out of the spotlight and keep the boys isolated from all the hype but the least you could do is let everyone else know how your games turn out. I know its not your intention to come off as too good for the rest of us but that's how it looks sometimes.

You've got D1 commits (or talent) at literally every position. You've even got some D1 talent on the bench! I realize that may seem unreal to some but I'm not exaggerating.

    Why the Veil of Secrecy?

I hope you win the State Championship as I've predicted here many times. Your hard work and talent are well deserving.

    Perfect Game!

Ok thanks mincmi. I looked. Providence pitchers Buttrey and Campana combined for a PERFECT GAME. Lets not let that get out!

I stand corrected on HR total, I thought in the back of my mind that Preston had 1 homer before he went on the 3 HR in 4 games tear, which would still only give him 4, my bad on #'s. From what I have seen and been told last 2 weeks, I still say the kid is hitting the ball as well or better than anyone in Charlotte with a load of very hard hits.

Hard to keep up with all the players, so many great ones just within 10 miles of my house, amazing!

I report what I know to mincmi. No one recaps the games better and more accurately. No offense to the TBR board for not reporting the facts. No bans, just want it accurately reported through SW4A.
