What exactly is the Phoenix Coyotes lease?

    I've been reading a lot of articles about the Phoenix situation, and have been hearing that they need a new lease.

    What exactly is the Coyotes lease(a link would be great), and why is it so bad??

    It is a triple net lease/30-60-90 with payments in arrears, notwithstanding prepayments or other encumbrances, all payments due on the 30th of the month except February. All parking revenues to be split evenly between tenant and AGuyYouKnow.

    Underlying ground lease

    There is also a perpetual ground lease with the Cherokee Indian tribe

    What's the Catch???

    With my luck there'd be some ground water contamination lawsuit mumbo jumbo and I'd be in court getting sued by the Maricopa Indians. Which are not to be confused with the last place Indians from Cleveland.

    The Maricopa Indians don't mess around. I grew up less than a mile from their reservation in Scottsdale. Ever been shot with Rock Salt?? It hurts like a $%$^&**$#$%%*(*&!!!!!!!
