Tomorrow night Davie and West Forsyth play at West in what should be a good game as the regular season begins to wind down. Davie also has a terrific sophmore Ben Beeson, who is the younger brother of Will, and is an outstanding hitter.

Oh Tony. I have to meet you some day!

You is funny Tony. For the record, I have absolutley no ties, allegiance or alliance with Providence. I just know what they have there. The most talented team I've seen in my 12 years of watching HS baseball here in NC.

As for "high on the hog?" I've smoked hog. We call it BBQ here in the QC.

Always favored the 2004 South Meck team as the best high school team I have seen:

    South Meck 2004
    1B – D1
    2B – D1
SS – High D1/Current AAA Professional
    3B – D1/High A professional
    LF – D1/High A professional
    CF – D1
    RF – D1
    C – D2
    DH - D1
    LHP – High D1
    RHP – D2
    LHP – High D1 / AA professional
    RHP – D1

State Playoffs - out in second round. Sure hope the Panther do not suffer the same faith this season.

We call it "bah ba q" in the GC........I just find it hard to believe (and I have never seen them play) that a team can lose a supplemental 1st round and another State guy (whom I know both start as freshman for a top 25 program in the country) and be better......they may be just as good but better......?

And for us in education...it is "You are funny" unless you are in South Central LA.....

    Absolutely. Let's hear about it.

From what I understand, the '99 Rose team was something else.
