    Brad Stone gave up 2 hits as AK shut down the Catholic offense, and the Knights came up with 4 runs in the 3rd inning against Cougar RHP Jordan Accetta. Nice crowd on hand as AK earned a nice non-conference win. These 2 teams should play every year!

    Hunt Takes Big East Regular-Season

    Wilson Hunt 5 Nash Central 4 (8 innings)

    Jacob Page's RBI double scored Parker Lamm all-the-way-from 1st base to end the game in the 8th inning. The speedy Lamm had just beat out an infield single to leadoff the inning. Hunt finishes 8-2 in the Big East, while Nash Central (6-4) will be the #2 seed in the Big East tourney next week.

    Gopack --- couldn't agree more! I think you guys should host a Jack Sink type tournament at the "Hughes"

    The Catholic fans, players and coaches were classy and a pleasure to host.

    Look, I love a numbers debate more than anyone can even imagine. I love the intensity of the debate too. Agree, disagree whatever I love it.

    Unfortunately I don't see where southmecker belittled or called out any players individually. Didn't actually see that until this post with the exception of saying that he would put Mauldin up against anyone.

    I do see where he believes as a team they could be hitting or should be hitting better. you can't subjectively attach that to any one player. And if you read my last post it makes some assumptions that are not in the numbers. But couldn't a team always be hitting better?

    Now, did we really have to go down the path we did? probably not.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think AGYK has at least alluded to the fact that his son plays it (Dirtbags?); and it was stated by AGYK that STHMKR works with one of the entities. And to what else could the $3600 comment refer?

    Just sayin'....
