Lenoir Rhynes baseball season ends (12-35, 8-17)...2011 (13-34 ,7-19). Rumor is to expect no administrative changes but players leaving by the dozen. Great school that deserves better.

 

Have seen some of their coaches out recruiting recently and they seem to be looking at both juniors and seniors which if they do have a lot of players leaving explains why they are looking at seniors this late.

We'll see what happens but operating on rumor is never a safe bet...especially when people's jobs and reputations are on the line...thanks.

 

The numbers speak for themselves...sorry but these kids work too hard and their reputation and futures are on the line.

 

I am sure the players and the coaching staff both work hard in the baseball environment. But I do not understand how a 18 to 23 year olds reputation and future are at risk over a Division II baseball programs win/loss record. I would hope that their reputation is judged by how they act a human beings and that their future is based on their classroom ability, degree, and work ethic.

My point was that "gossiping" about what's going on at LR isn't productive given the fact that no one really knows what's going on. They had a bad year and that always stokes the fires of speculation...we'll see what happens.

New on this site ...interesting and honest answers as I research schools baseball programs/coaches/geographic location ..anyone have information on the Lenoir Rhyne program. Also any information on Wingate.
