Piedmont Triad is only league where the 6 seed has just as good a chance of winning the conference tournament as the 1 seed......stay tuned!!!!!!

    I get it, but...
Not as good a chance as #1, simply because #1 only has to win 2 in 4 days.
The rest will have to win 3 in 6 days; which, if some teams throw #1 on Wednesday, they would probably come back with him on Monday. Lots on a kid. But again, I see what you're saying, and yes, the ability is there.

McDowell lost to Asheville last friday and is now 13-9 going into its season finale tonight at AC Reynolds.

I've noticed on maxpreps site that Page finished at 13-10 and is not an automatic qualifier.

With being only 1 Wild Card in the West... can somebody elaborate on how the NCHSAA would determine a tiebreaker if both McDowell and Page finish at 13-10?

I know I'm not answering your question...

... as I am not sure. However, I might add that 13-10 (.562%) probably might be a little below the needed percentage to qualify as the Wild Card.

McDowell won its game last night 7-5...The Titans finish the season at 14-9...I hope that's good enough to get in as a wild card.

    Even more FYI...

PT4A - East Fo is #1, SWG #2 due to head-to-head sweep by East.
Glenn (currently 16-8) at #4 would be 16-9 if knocked out of tourny in first round. If it were then won by the 5-7 seed (bumping Glenn from #4) that winning % at 16-9 would be .640 for the possible WC...

Wild Card teams are actually determined by regular season records the conf. tourney game will not be included. So if Glenn is a wild card, 16-8 will be their record.

FWIW, there are a ton of Glenn fans (including myself) 2 hours away hoping for a win.
