    MR Vs PW

Couldn't bring myself to watch the complete game.....MR over PW 8-0 in the 3rd. They were still up when I left.

MR 7 stolen bases, a couple with out a throw
PW 3E's, @3-4 walks and multiple passed balls.

MR can beat a good team without help. PW has some young players in key spots and it showed tonight.

    MR 3 Wedd 2

Great ball game between 2 very good teams. Walk off double in bottom of 7th by Jacob Henderson plates Ben Peterson for winning run. Lots of exciting plays in the last few innings. Top of 7th was tense as Wedd had 1st and 2nd with 0 outs and MR freshman Max Wotell came in and got out of the jam with no runs allowed.

First of all congrats to MR. Toughly contested game in which Zach Kuchmanor kept the Weddington hitters off balance for 4 innings. Zach was commanding the zone and had his breaking ball really working. MR then used a couple of other pitchers to finish out the game highlighted by Max getting out of that tough jam in the 7th.

Sean Collins struggled to command the zone early and MR took advantage of a few walks in the 2nd that resulted in their first two runs. He settled down and shut them down in 3rd and 4th. David Pope came in and pitched great to finish out the game. MR just got to him in the bottom of the 7th with the with back to back hits including the walk off double by Peterson.

Tough loss for Weddington. Great win for Marvin Ridge. Congrats.

If I am not mistaken Marvin Ridge stood in the same dugout and then beat them 3 times. So no your post was not "real" except for Bostic being best lefty in state.
