    As I said previously, I am still taking the field.

    Are the P guys still bellyaching about the format (one and done) or do they truly believe P can win it all?

    Others, who do you pick to win it all??

    Regards, :toilet-paper::toilet-paper::toilet-paper:

    I'll take the field...baseball is an unpredictable game and all it takes is a misplayed ground ball or a swinging strikeout that gets past the catcher to change everything. Anyone's stud pitcher can have a game where he walks too many or misses a spot and surrenders a 3-run HR.

    The field is always the smart bet, IMO...

    Okay...I checked with Dr Methusda, my crystal ball. It's been a long time since I brought it out--- the last time was when Lake Norman won it all. I'll be back later to reveal what it says

    I am obviously part of the field - and I still wish you would quit stirring the pot.

    Jealousy is so unbecoming.:disappointed:
    I know because, sadly, I have been before...

    I'm no mathematician....but there are 64 in the field meaning there will be 63 losers (or options in this case other than Providence) and a total of 66 playoff games to determine a state champion.....just think of all the crazy things that will happen over that span of time.....so in saying that I am going with the FIELD......

    Should Providence win it all..............

    If it turns out that Providence wins it all, i will be the second to congratulate them and say "well done" to players and coaches.

    Saying that.....it will be difficult, but not impossible to do. The most recent example is Kentucky basketball.

    Personally, I believe Coach H. deserves to achieve it, but gotta win 'em all coach. Good luck.
    As soon as my team gets booted out, I will be at every P game thereafter cheering them on in what will be a pressure packed series of games.
    Love it!!!!!

    The answer is: Providence, who has won 90 games and four consecutive SW4A titles, has won this many playoff games in the last three seasons.

    As is my tradition, I always like to bestow upon a particular, worthy team from the western part of the state the proverbial bullseye.:sunny:

    Providence should win. (Where's the fun in picking the field?)
