    Davie 8 Butler 1

    Back from Mocksville, yuck..............

Butler gets schooled form Davie Co. (UNCW) commit Ryan Foster. I'm pretty sure he had at least 10k's. The better team certainly won. The War Eagles roughed up Dalton Eisenbath in the second inning of the game an it was pretty much over at 5-0. Foster was in command and went the distance. Butler's season is over. There were some good wins, but yet too many missed opportunities in the bigger games.

Thanks for all that this msg board has given me, on to legion and college ball.
    Stay civil my friends ..........

    Peace !!

Dalton is one of those special kids that you know you will miss watching. Not only is he a good ball player, he is a very nice young man. I wish him luck in the future.

Davie is a strong team with a lot of good bats. Good luck this summer and with his college career.

    Catholic/Cox Mill

Catholic defeated Cox Mill tonight 12-5 in front of a packed house at Jack Hughes Park. Jeff Ciesielski, Tyler Jensen, and Eddie Hull each had 3 hits for the Cougars as they were able to get to ECU-bound Travis Watkins early. Jacob Bonen-Clark pitched 6 solid innings to get the win. Catholic will host Weddington on Tuesday night in what should be an excellent game. By the way, has anyone seen A Guy You Know lately? Rumor has it that he was at The Catholic game tonight -- I don't know?

    Reagan v AK

Brandon Vogler (Charlotte commit) brought some 12 pound ball bearings to tonights game, pitching all 9 innings. Most interesting play was when the AK runner tried to run over catcher, Spencer Holcomb to end the game. Holcomb lives in the weight room and only stopped lifting when he couldn't put his arms together in front of his body early in the season. AK is a beautiful place and the fans were pretty cool. Our centerfielder found out from the fans tonight that that his sister sells sex and that his parents are ashamed that he was born. He smiled about that all the way to the bus. BTW, Reagan has 1 freshman, 6 sophs, 6 jrs, and 1 Sr. They could be pretty good next year.
