    Cuthbertson - 13
    @ West Davidson - 2

    WP - CG - Brian Donovan (4 hits, 4 K's, 1 er)

The bats got a bit hot on Friday night as Cuthbertson got 5 HR's from 4 individual players. Overall, I thought it was a well played game by both teams. Donovan was able to keep their hitters at bay until the 6th when WD came through with their own 2-run dinger. Great crowd last night by WD. The atmosphere was terrific as we had to park all the way back in the spill over parking lot.

    HR's - Tekker 2, Zupcik, Pierce, Mangum

Cuthbertson travels to Randleman to play in the 4th round. Good luck to our friends down the street at Weddington as they also move forward into the fourth round.

    Randleman 5 Cuthbertson 0

I know how stacked Cuthbertson is with talent, but both teams went into the game at 27-3 so Randleman obviously has some significant talent as well but don't know anything about them.

Anyone that can give a download on the game?

    Tough Loss

Cavs left 7 men on base. 1 inning we had bases loaded with no outs. Just couldn't get it done. Randleman is a solid hitting team and they got 2 homeruns in the game. JD Long and Andrew Hendel had a couple of hits a piece.
Cuthbertson seniors should be proud, though. In the schools three years of existence they had a record of 68 - 11. Nothing to hang your head down about. Hope the best for the team next year and beyond. Coach Little can do some good things on the field for Cuthbertson.
Excited to be moving on to the next level.
Also excited about trying to get out to Weddington this weekend and see if we can't bring home a state championship to Union County. To think that Cuthbertson's Seniors started their HS careers at Weddington before having to move. It's been great.

Congrats on a great run. Lot's of great kids moving on to the next level from this squad and should be fun to watch over the next few years.

(looking forward to soon being teammates with the Tekker family again too!) Don't be a stranger.
