    Chapel Hill Regional:
    Tar Heel pitching should dominate this regional. ECU has players who are capable, but this season the Pirate offense has been inconsistent and completely disappears at times. You gotta score runs to win games.

    First two things that come to mind:

    1. I'm predicting a major upset in Virginia: App State advances
    2. Holy Cow...South Carolina and Clemson in the same bracket...and at Columbia. No way anyone will get tickets for that Regional.

    I ain't Stretchy, so there's no jinx. I just believe that App St is highly underrated. If one keeps in mind how they conquered LSU....I don't think that UVA even knows where App St is?

    Some of the UVA fans may not know where Appalachian State is; but, I can assure you that Brian O'Connor and his staff are extremely well aware of Appalachian State's prowess.

    As I look at the regionals, that looks like one that could be taken by any one of three teams: Appalachian, Oklahoma, or Virginia. For that reason, it wouldn't surprise me if it carried over into Monday to decide its winner.

    Yep, UNC only wins when they're given a "pass."

    I suppose that's how that "pass" last Saturday night in Greensboro worked out so well for them.
