    The Gamecocks and the 2 teams they beat in the past 2 nat. championship series' are back at the CWS. That would be UCLA & Fla.

    And what about Stonybrook and Kent State earning their way in the final 8? Now I don't feel quite as bad about the Pack losing to "Stonybrook" in the Myrtle Beach regional in 2010.

    TCU didn't win that game - UCLA outplayed them - but the guys shouldn't hang their heads - that's what the game is about - good competition - plain and simple. As for some tough calls in the game - you just gotta get over them.

    Anyway -Thanks to all those cheerin' on PM on this board - it means a lot 'cause the players need to know their efforts mean somethin' to the community and the guys comin' up behind them.

    I've heard from some of you and ur good "baseball people.' Proud of your own team or kid - but respectful of those that play the game clean - the right way.

    Time for a little R & R.

    Florida 2 and barbeque, beaten by the MAC team.

    USC Gamecocks in 3rd consecutive CWS championship series, this time vs. Arizona.

    could it be a 3 PEAT??
