    Anyone know the Sunday results? I couldn't get back out there Sunday.

    Saw some really good ball Saturday. At least two International Tie Breakers. A 90-minute time limit, no drop dead. Generous by some standards; and somewhat appreciated.

    I had the privilege also of meeting and shaking hands with two players I've only had the opportunity to read about. Chelsea Wilkinson and Jordin Phillips, whose birthday I'll never forget (same as mine :) ). No, I didn't ask for autographs.

    Some really great talent at the tournament!!!

    Anyway, who won, please?

    6 Teams Left around 1:30 Sunday

    I don't know who won but around 1:30 sunday there were 6 teams left in the 18's.

    Wayne county Hurricanes vs Lady Blues (both teams have not lost a game)

    Carolina Wildcats vs Randolph Rage
    Blue Ridge Bombers vs Foothills Heat

    Monte Sherrill's 16u Cobras came from 2 runs down in the 7th inning to beat Chip Furr's Lady Blues in the "if" game.

    Heat won vs. Bombers, then lost to Wildcats.
    Leaving Wildcats & Blues,. Winner to play Hurricanes in Championship.
    I don't know how it turned out.

    I know Wildcats came in third, so I guess it was Blues vs. Hurricanes in the final

    Heard the 16 U was played under protest because the 2 Cobras teams changed brackets. Does anyone know what really happened?

    intially They just had the Cobra last name posted on Bracket wrong before the tournament started. The Cobra's Pennell was posted for the other Cobra at the first. The Director just named the other Cobra team Cobra Sherrill so my mix up would occur.

    NC Triangle Blaze

    Great showing by the 14U NC Triangle Blaze in the 16u age group. Placed 4th in the field......losing a close one to the Lady Blues 3-2.
