    Ditto

Can't wait to get back in the car and start traveling again. Getting to see not only your son, but others that played with him in HS and before that ended up going to different colleges. What a blast!

Who will win the SoCon? This first year in awhile that there has not been a clear cut favorite or 2.

Watch out for App State, they could do it again. Strong up the middle - Callaway is a Pre Season All American, Crespo and Zupcic were also All Conf last year. Josh Zumbrook should be catching and I believe will be extremely good both offensively and defensively. You've got a returning 3B in Holmes and I would imagine Leach will flash the glove at 1st and show his lefty power stroke. Troutman will be at an outfield corner which leaves an open outfield position that could be filled by several. Pitching will be strong, but slightly young and I think team batting avg will be up, but power numbers will be down. They WILL run the bases and score runs.

No dog in the fight any longer, but still rooting for those guys!

Watch out for WCU, only lost one starter from last year. Returning (coaches selection) All confernece players Preston Hatcher and Jacob Hoyle (College Sports Madness selection) Hatcher, Hoyle, Cody Jones and Tyler White, and three from the SoCon All Freshman Team, Hoyle, Jeremey Null and Bradly Strong. Hoyle was also named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All American Team. Returning players had great summer seasons making all star teams and league top prospect lists.
WCU won 2 out of 3 from ASU last season.
