CAP-8 Conference 2013 predictions?

Big game for Heritage this Friday with Millbrook. Heritage lost a heart breaker in 8 inn to Millbrook in the 1st half. Should set the tone for the weeks of the season. Congrats to Sanderson for there big win last night and they seem to peaking at the right time.

Would love to see Heritage in the playoffs this season. The seniors took their lumps for 2 seasons when the school started up and deserve to be in there as they have been playing great ball the last 2 seasons. Sanderson's starting pitching has heated up over the past 5 games as the starting pitchers have only allowed 1 earned run over that time. Bats came to life yesterday against Wilson White and Broughton after only getting 3 hits in 10 innings against BJ Nobles and Millbrook on Tuesday. Looking forward to a great last few weeks

 

Weather could cause some headaches this week. Both Leesville and Broughton have three games this week. With Sanderson leading the pack the real fight is now 4 thru 6 with Wakefield, Heritage and Millbrook. Lets see what happens with the weather. It may put some strains on pitching this week and next.

 

So as I understand the seeding at the moment.
1. Sanderson 10 wins
2. Broughton 9 wins
3. Leesville 8 wins
4. Millbrook 8 wins
5. Heritage 8 wins

Now I have been told that Wakefield has a chance at the Wildcard and needs to play there last game vs Heritage. If Heritage wins that game and the others are rained out how does that affect the seedings? If Wakefield wins than the seeding stays the same from what I can best gather.

I hope we all play or nobody plays to keep conference at 13 games instead of 14. I do know Wakefield will do everything possible to play this game tonight as it is senior night and a possible WC bid on the line.

Sanderson-V-Broughton

This game could be important also, If Sanderson losses then they are still #1 seed and Broughton remains #2 seed, If Sanderson wins then Broughton could fall to 4 or 5 seed. It is also Sanderson's senior night!! I have been to 4 Senior nights at Sanderson and now it is time for these 8 Seniors to be reconized and my son is one of them!!
