LLG Elite Finish 2nd at Team NJ Summer Classic

The Lady Lightning Gold Elite finished 2nd at the Team NJ Summer Classic. The LLG Elite won 5 straight elimination games in before dropping the championship game to Team Mizuno (CA). This year's classic had teams from 17 states across the country and included a single elimination championship bracket play. This LLG team was very young, featuring 4 (2015), 6 (2016), 2 (2017), along with 2 (2013). Congrats to these young ladies!

 

Great Week for the LLG Program

It was a great week for the LLG program. The schedule of strong opponents matched up with such great young players in the LLG program was very fun to watch.
Over 60 different D1 coaches revolved to come watch both LLG teams this week.
The LLG Elite and Futures teams carried lots of very strong young talent in the 2015, 2016, and 2017 class.

The LLG Elite team carried 2 committed players in the 2013 class.

It was definitely a great experience for all of these players.

 

Fun Weekend in PA

It was fun watching the LLG kids this weekend. It was an impressive performance against the best competition I've seen this summer. Team Mizuno were Californians virtually all of whom are committed to major programs including four Florida commits. They also feature a UNC commit in the circle and former UNC star Dani Spaulding's sister at SS. She's headed for UCLA.
