Probability of competing beyond high school..

Straight from the NCAA website..... It's basically 5%......
Imagine a room with 100 softball players..... Are you one of the 5??
And this means all divisions, D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO.......

If you don't put the work in, Look in the mirror for the reason why....

    Can't argue with the numbers but . . .

I've always held that any competent high school softball player can be a member of a collegiate team if Daddy is willing to write the tuition check. It may be D3 and you might never see the field but if a kid (or dad) really wants to be on a team there's probably a school for you. [/SIZE]

What a surprising statement. It takes more than "Daddy" writing a check for a young lady to be part of a collegiate team. Weather it's D1, D2, D3 or JUCO one must first have talent to get an invite to be on a team. Once they have earned a spot on the team, they must earn their way on to the field and keep earning it day in and day out & season to season. I think your are confusing collegiate ball with TB. College ball isn't for everyone as can be seen by looking at rosters for various teams that have very few upper classman.
