Charlotte Starz 14U Futures Seeking 14U/16U to Scrimmage This Saturday!

The Charlotte Starz 14U Futures is looking to scrimmage a Top Caliber 14U team or a 16U team this coming Saturday. We have reserved North Meck park field 4 (Huntersville NC)for 3 hours from 10:30 to 1:30 pm. We could play for about 2 hours of solid softball. If your team is interested please contact one of the coaches below. We would be willing to visit your team if that is more convenient.

Charlotte Starz 12U White Tryouts

Charlotte Starz 12U White will be holding a tryout on Sunday, August 2nd from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Waxhaw Elementary School fields in Waxhaw, NC.
We are looking for experienced players with a working knowledge of the game, great attitude and willing to work hard to grow as a player and with the team. All players will be expected to bring their best to the field, be committed to learning and working hard at every practice and game, positively supporting their teammates and demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.
Every athlete on our team will earn their position so each player can play with confidence, pride and knowing that their hard work and dedication resulted in their success.
We have great opportunity to pitchers to get a lot of mound time and are also looking for experienced catchers and utility players.

LLG will be having tryouts for new players in the 2018, 2019 and 2020 class on Saturday Aug 8th.
Tryout times are as follows

Pitchers and catchers 2018, 2019, 2020 will start at 1030am

Player evaluations
2018 12pm
2019 1245pm
2020 130pm

All players must be pursuing D1 level collegiate softball and be able to keep a 3.5 gpa to be eligible.

Return offers will be made Aug 8th at the end. Return workout will be Aug 16th with the LLG teams you are being recommended for.

NC Sun Devils Holding 18u & 16u Tryouts

The NC Sun Devils will be holding open tryouts for on positions on their 18u and brand new 16u team on Tuesday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 18 at South Iredell HS in Statesville, NC. We ask all interested players to arrive at South Iredell between 6:00 and 6:30pm. Please park in upper parking lot and walk down to the field.

The Sun Devils are lead by 18u head coach Emily “Forbes” Schroeder was a four year starter at UNC-Charlotte and her husband Nick, team manager, is a local college Athletic Director. Jeff Soots a current assistant coach at Queens University in Charlotte is the organization director.

Advanced registration is welcomed for planning purposes, but not required.

NC Sun Devils Elite | A NC Fastpitch Showcase Organization
A little information on the NC Sun Devils Elite program:
The North Carolina Sun Devils Elite is a high level competitive Fastpitch organization located in the Hickory/Statesville Area. The organization has seen amazing success since the inception of the team in the 2000′s. The NC Sun Devils Elite competes in showcase and qualifier tournaments all over the east coast and have developed multiple collegiate softball athletes.

The North Carolina Sun Devils Elite prides itself on training young women to develop the physical and mental abilities to be successful at the collegiate softball level. Players are expected to work hard on the field and in the classroom.

 

Lake Norman 8U (Fall) 10U (Spring) Fastpitch Softball Tryouts

The Lake Norman (LKN) Warriors 8U Fastpitch Softball Team will be holding tryouts on Sunday morning, August 16th from 9:30am – 10:30am at Torrence Chapel Park, Field 1, in Cornelius, NC. This tryout will create the roster for the 8U Fall 2015 schedule as well as the 10U Spring-Summer 2016 schedule. Each Fall tryouts will be held to create a roster for the aforementioned schedules.

**Girls with pitching experience and desire to pitch during the 2016 Spring-Summer schedule are encouraged to tryout.

The Warriors are committed to an atmosphere conducive to the girls developing their skills in a positive environment and an environment where negative criticism is strictly forbidden. We believe the Players should Play, the Coaches should Coach and the Parents should Cheer.

Please make sure the girls are properly equipped for tryouts.

Team NC-Louisville Slugger Eaton based out of the South Charlotte area is looking for 2 experienced A level players to round out the fall roster. Specific positional needs are 1st base, Pitcher, and SS, but will consider other positions.

Players interested in trying can attend the Team NC Organizational Try Outs on August 15th or contact Coach Eaton to set up a time to practice with the team.
