      he definitely was excited to be able to play baseball at a Christian school but I know everyone says you should not make the decision based on the coach because he could leave, but Coach Toman was the reason - Cal fell in love with the guy, he seems so genuine - Sorry it took so long to reply, i did not find the message till now. THanks for all you do with the site, it is a great service for the baseball community. Cal is doing well - he is 6'3 now and about 190, he is working hard and is so much stronger and faster - hopefully things will work out.

      It is my pleasure. Outstanding! I remember Coach Toman when he was at USC---great coach. I gotta tell ya, Cal was one of the best athletes I have seen in awhile. I expect great things from him. What made him decide on Liberty? Was it his faith?
