The CPC looks to be very competitive again in 2011 with alot of returning players for each school. This should be another exciting year in one of the toughest conferences in 4A.
North Davidson returns plenty of arms to be among one of the elite teams in the league with Jordan Ramsey(UNC-W), Clark Beeker, and Clyde Tate along with several other arms. They return Landon Lassiter (UNC signee) at shortstop, Redmond behind the plate, Cody Adkins (UNC-Asheville) in centerfield, Karsten Miller, Dustin Murphy at 2B, and several other starters.
West Forsyth returns one of the top arms in the league in Ryan Mayhew (UNC-W), Morgan, and Zach Winkler who transferred from Reagan. They also return Josh Clark behind the plate, Humphrey in the infield, and several other starters as well.
Davie County returns a ton of talent as well. They have several arms in Ryan Foster, Joe Watson, Corey Randall, Carson Herndon, and several other good arms. They return Jacob "Bull" Barber (Liberty) behind the plate, Alex Newman in centerfield, Herndon (Liberty) at shortstop, Foster at 3rd, and several other starting positions.
Mount Tabor returns Jamie Nunn (App. State) as their top arm and Jon Gordon, Montana Dawson, Matt Paspy, Matt McConnell, and a couple other arms as well. In the field Tanner Vogler returns as the catcher, Bradley Morton (UNC) returns in centerfield, Montana Dawson returns in the outfield as well as a couple other starters.
Reagan returns Taylor Lane as their top pitcher and one of their top players as well as alot of younger talent that can play as well.
Reynolds returns one of the top players in the league in catcher Connor Andrus and a few other starters from last year's team.
This conference looks to be loaded with alot of young and old talented players and this should be another interesting year in the CPC!

    Scrimmage on Saturday

East Rowan scrimmages Mt. Tabor this Saturday. Should be a good measuring stick for both teams.
