    semis:

    Asheboro 5
    Randleman 4

    Ragsdale 10
    SE Guilford 0 5 innings

WP - Catlin Carter (6-0) LP- Austin Moyer

Carter wins his 6th game of the season. No details on the boxscore but it looks like Ragsdale's bats are coming alive at the right time of the season.

Mullins will probably get the start for Ragsdale tomorrow night. Asheboro is now 17-8 on the season. They may have a wild card berth to the playoffs wrapped up but a win tomorrow night will assure they get in.

Should be a good game either way - wish I could go but work will be calling...

and oh yeah --- Ragsdale is now 23-1 on the season :satana:

Asheboro wraps up a playoff berth with the win and leaves Randleman hoping they can get a wildcard berth.

I don't know all the details except Ragsdale got down 5-0, then hit two, two run homers ( Brandon Phelps and Jason Wallace) but couldn't get a run across in the 7th inning.

Brandon Phelps started and took the loss ( he started and beat Asheboro 14-3 just a week ago). Phelps is a decent pitcher but he actually took both of Ragsdale's losses this year.

Conrgats to Asheboro on a fine season. Timmy Murray is a good coach. They are now 18-8 on the year. Ragsdale stills gets the #1 seed from the conference and is now at 23-2. Will probably lose their #1 ranking to Aycock now. But rankings don't mean nothing now - it's all about the playoffs.
