Carolinas Baseball Center is proud to announce that they have added two new instructors, Joe Borchard and Kyle Shelton.

Joe was the 12th pick of the first round in the 2000 Major League Baseball Draft out of Stanford University (was also a quarterback on the football team) by the Chicago White Sox. Borchard's most notable feat was setting the US Cellular Field home run distance record, yet to be eclipsed at 504 feet off Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Brett Myers. Along with the White Sox and Giants, Borchard has played for the Seattle Mariners, Florida Marlins and Atlanta Braves organizations.

Kyle is a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School, where he was a two time All State performer at shortstop, and the Mecklenburg County Player of the Year in 2004. During his career at the University of North Carolina, the team won the ACC Championship and played in the College World Series three times. Kyle plays in the Chicago White Sox organization and last year played for both the Winston-Salem Dash and Kannapolis Intimidators.

Both Joe and Kyle are now available for individual lessons.
