Playoff Bracketology?

    I just think it's unfortunate that some teams get to breeze through to the 3rd or 4th round while teams from areas with good baseball get very very tough matchups in the 1st and 2nd rounds. We're talking about #1 vs #2 in the sweet 16. That's ridiculous. Also, before Southeast Guilford even moves on to play against East Rowan in this 1 vs 2 sweet 16 matchup, they must get by SW Guilford in the 2nd round. SE Guilford was preseason #2 in the state and SW Guilford was preseason #5 in the state. I think Southeast has the best team in North Carolina but they will have to earn it, in what will be a brutal 3A West bracket.

    #4 in the Mid Piedmont will be decided Wednesday night as SWR and Asheboro tied for fourth regular season. Winner advances to play SE Guilford and gets the last playoff spot. Should be a great game with the playoff spot on the line - both teams played well down the stretch
